[E3 Survival Guide] |
The Electronic
Entertainment Expo. E3. For people who have never been, it's a
carnival of flashy lights, sounds, and women that is a fleeting
paradise on Earth, and oasis of gaming that comes once a year, and
then vanishes like a mirage. For those of us who have been to a few
of these shows, it represents the most intense workout the arches in
your feet get, and seeing old faces pop up in new places.
This year, Netjak sent our biggest contingent ever, to bring you,
the gamer who doesn't feel like paying for E3 coverage, the BIGGEST
Netjak Coverage of E3 EVER! We've spared every expense, and somehow
still managed to field:
Not 1, not 2...ok, actually it is 2, distinctly different reporters!
2 female Squaresoft ex-testers to add their points of view!
2 cars to drive to the show, and pay for parking!
1 fabulous Netjak t-shirt to walk around the show floor with!
So, feel free to wander about the pages and pages of our E3
coverage. We didn't do too many screenshots, because really that's
not what we're about...and besides everyone else has them. I didn't
want to be the 80th guy on the floor taking the same blurry picture
of the same thing.
What we do have though, are big E3 coverage articles by Rick Healey
and myself, our Best and Worst 10 Things at the Show, our 10 Best
and Worst Surprises of E3, our list of top E3 goodies passed out, a
Survival Guide if you are going to be attending May 12-14 of next
year, and a brief interview with some of the thankless souls demoing
the games, protecting the booth babes, posing in costumes, and in
general hating life from about 8:30 am to 6pm Wednesday and
Thursday, and 8:30am to until cleanup's finished on Friday.
So come on in, walk around, and enjoy the coverage.
